Ocean's Eleven sequel underway! 
The plan is for it to be shown in March 2004...long way to go!
At least we still got George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Don Cheadle, Julia Roberts, Bernie Mac and director Steven Soderbergh in this one. There might be some new cast members although I think Scott Caan and Casey Affleck played their roles well in the first one.

OH NO! They're going to sue Kazaa!
LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- A federal judge has given record companies and movie studios the go-ahead to sue the parent company of Kazaa, a popular online file-swapping service.
U.S. District Judge Stephen V. Wilson refused to dismiss a copyright infringement lawsuit against Sharman Networks Ltd., which had argued that it could not be sued in the United States because it is based in Australia and incorporated in the South Pacific nation of Vanuatu.
In a 46-page ruling issued last week, the judge said Sharman is subject to U.S. copyright laws because it has substantial business dealings in California and its actions are alleged to contribute to commercial piracy within the United States.
Reaction to the ruling
Kelly Larabee, a Sharman spokeswoman, said that while the company was "disappointed" with the ruling on the case, "we fully expect to prevail on the merits."
Larabee said Sharman would be filing a counterclaim that will "set forth the full story for the first time."
The Sharman case is one of the largest in the recent online copyright wars testing the international reach of U.S. courts. The plaintiffs maintain that Kazaa provides free access to copyrighted music and films to about 21 million U.S. users.

I got a 32 over 100...can you believe that? yes, i answered the questions honestly! i think joey would contest to that score, it's too low! haha! women beware the wrath of margie maldita! i am a scorpio - very deadly when crossed!
why DO people get jealous, especially in relationships? Is it because of lack of attention? insecurity? and i'm not only describing fault in the one getting jealous. Sometimes there are incidents (for those who've read Bridget Jones' Diary) wherein mentionitis occurs - a certain name keeps cropping up. Stories, thoughts and ideas that have been shared (aaah a blog would be good evidence of this) are also discovered which gives the other a reason to doubt. Or maybe you see your partner looking at someone else or is just more attentive to someone else. Heck he/she could be using his/her flirting technique on another! Isn't that proof enough? Well, a lot of my friends have this dilemma and honestly there is no right answer. I just think there are always cookie crumbs that lead the way for a fight or argument to happen. Better to be more aware of your own actions instead of blaming others all the time.

the director of Battle Royale, Kinji Fukasaku died two days ago. Of cancer, according to my japanese classmate Hiro. It such a shame since he was in the process of finishing Battle Royale II...but good news is his son will continue to finish the film.

here i am back at the dorm. Today was kind of sad because i just found out an old friend of mine from DLSU died. He was shot by some guy, described as a tricycle driver by the newspapers since the license plate of the motorcycle was for public transport, on Taft Avenue. He was on his way to La Salle to apply for a teaching job while he waited for the results of the bar. But Jay accidentally bumped this guy, they argued and Jay got shot twice in the head and another somewhere else. This is so wrong. I don't think Jay ever got mad. He's just the nicest happy-happy guy who always had a smile for everyone in school. I wish people who can't control themselves should be imprisoned for having guns. How many times do we have to say this? Some people who've read the articles in the paper suspect that a policeman killed him. That might be stereotyping but it could also be true since it is odd for a tricycle guy to have a gun. But do you really know how many people out there carry a gun? i'm sure more than we think. I hate those guys who carry without licenses and especially despise those who sold it to them. Please pray it doesn't happen to you...or any of the numerous students around Taft Avenue. Anyone of your friends or relatives could have been in Jay's shoes at that particular time.
